Description

You will design, develop, and maintain API proxies and REST APIs using Apigee and Layer 7 CA API platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API proxies and REST APIs within Apigee and Layer 7 environments.
• Implement security policies including OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, and throttling.
• Configure and manage proxies in Apigee, applying relevant structures and integration design principles.
• Support implementation and maintenance of projects using the Layer 7 CA API platform.

Required Skills

• 7 to 9 years of hands-on development experience with Apigee and the Layer 7 CA API platform.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform managed services, specifically Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Load Balancers.
• Deep understanding of security protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT.
• Experience managing rate limits and throttling policies.
• Knowledge of REST API idempotency concepts.
• Proficiency with JQuery.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API management platform architecture and integration design.
