Description

You will design and develop API proxies and REST APIs using Apigee and Layer 7 platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API proxies and REST APIs within the API Management platform.
• Implement security policies including OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, and throttling.
• Configure and manage proxies in Apigee, ensuring proper structure and concept application.
• Support implementation and maintenance projects using the Layer 7 CA API platform.
• Apply integration design principles and idempotency concepts to REST API development.

Required Skills

• 7 to 9 years of hands-on development experience with Apigee and Layer 7 platforms.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) managed services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Load Balancers.
• Strong understanding of API and integration design principles.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Expertise in security policy management (OAuth2, JWT, throttling).
• Working knowledge of jQuery and JavaScript.
• Experience with Layer 7 CA API platform implementation and support.
• Proven problem-solving skills and strong verbal and written communication.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of API idempotency patterns.
