Description

You will design, develop, and maintain API solutions using the Apigee Edge platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API solutions and proxy services for data transformation, routing, and rate limiting.
• Implement API security measures including authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols.
• Integrate APIs with backend systems, databases, and third-party applications.
• Conduct performance testing and optimize implementations to ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot integration, performance, and security issues while documenting designs and configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Apigee Integration Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in the Apigee Edge platform, including policy management and security implementation.
• In-depth understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with API security standards such as OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience integrating APIs with various backend systems and databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
