Lead the architecture, implementation, and operational management of Apigee API management platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API architecture, security, and access controls including SAML, Web SSO, and SSL/TLS.
• Manage Apigee environment lifecycles, including building, patching, upgrading, migrating, and decommissioning.
• Configure and maintain high availability, load balancing, failover, and Active-Active DR environments.
• Provide L2/L3 support to ensure platform availability and meet SLAs for incidents, service requests, and changes.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Networking, Cybersecurity, and Governance teams for firewall, port, and load balancer configurations.

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience in Apigee operations and management.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee Gateways and PoD setups (Router-Message processor).
• Proven experience with On-prem DC migrations and Cloud migrations.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, environment health checks, and monitoring Apigee components.
• Strong understanding of API security, performance tuning, and best practices.
• Proficiency in RHEL and Shell scripting.
• Experience managing complex topologies and E2E communication setups.

Preferred Skills

• Development knowledge within the Apigee platform.
