Description

You will design, develop, and manage API proxies using Google’s Apigee platform (Edge or X).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop API proxies and policies using Apigee.
• Implement reusable shared flows for security, transformation, logging, and error handling.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to integrate APIs with enterprise applications.
• Monitor and enhance API performance, security, and reliability.
• Manage the full lifecycle of APIs including versioning, deprecation, and retirement.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API development and management.
• Proficiency in Restful and SOAP Web Services.
• Strong understanding of API Security Protocols (OAuth, JWT, TLS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with version control systems like Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Sumologic.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apigee X.
