Apigee Lead

You will design, develop, and manage API proxies and security policies within the Google Apigee EdgeX platform.

Responsibilities

• Create reusable API proxies, shared flows, and policies using Apigee.
• Implement security protocols including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and mTLS to protect APIs.
• Build CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automated API deployment and management.
• Troubleshoot runtime issues, monitor performance, and optimize API efficiency.
• Address technical debt and resolve complex engineering challenges.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with API management.
• Extensive proficiency with Google Apigee EdgeX.
• Strong command of JavaScript, Java, and Node.js.
• Experience with API specifications such as Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes for cloud-native deployments.
• Ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration in production environments.
