Description

You will manage and develop within the Apigee API Management platform, owning the lifecycle of API proxies and ensuring platform stability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create, configure, and maintain API proxies, implementing fault tolerance and high availability.
• Design and build API flows and Shared flows to support proxy functionality.
• Add policies to proxy endpoints, including Java and JavaScript callouts for custom logic.
• Implement API Security, Authentication, and Authorization using established enterprise patterns.
• Analyze API contract differences and implement necessary transformations between JSON and XML.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API management with deep expertise in the Apigee platform.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for callouts, logic implementation, and endpoint processing.
• Experience implementing RESTful API designs and managing API contracts.
• Hands-on work with JSON and XML data formats, including parsing and transformation.
• Ability to troubleshoot proxies and perform root cause identification using Apigee tracing tools.
• Proven ability to implement security and authorization patterns within an enterprise environment.
• Any Graduate degree.
