Description

You will own the verification of API functionality, accuracy, and reliability through comprehensive testing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Develop detailed test plans and cases covering API performance, reliability, and edge scenarios.
• Execute performance and load testing to ensure scalability under various conditions.
• Troubleshoot issues and track defects by working closely with developers and stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving testing methodologies and automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API and Web Services testing.
• Strong expertise in writing automated test scripts in Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP protocols.
• Proficiency in performance testing techniques and tools.
• Ability to create and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with issue tracking systems like JIRA or Bugzilla.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI platforms like Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
