Description

Manage performance monitoring and observability strategies to ensure end-to-end visibility across distributed application infrastructures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain organizational performance monitoring, reporting, and metric standardization strategies.
• Collaborate with application teams to onboard services into the APM platform using DevOps automation.
• Analyze performance data to assist teams with troubleshooting, tuning, and root cause analysis.
• Develop custom dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor critical business applications and infrastructure.
• Integrate APM tools with incident management and communication platforms like PagerDuty, Slack, and Jira.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience with Observability and APM tools, specifically New Relic and AWS X-Ray.
• 2+ years of experience writing NRQL.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Linux/Unix Shell Scripting.
• Experience with AWS performance monitoring and cost management.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Experience with Splunk and integrating monitoring tools via webhooks.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues in large-scale, multi-tier distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing AIOps rules and automated onboarding workflows.
• Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
