Description

You will design and oversee the technical architecture for large, multifunctional projects across diverse technology stacks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and business process expertise for highly complicated projects.
• Perform technology research, proof of concepts, and pilots to evaluate software and business impacts.
• Create architecture views and models to describe solutions using UML and application modeling.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and perform feasibility studies.
• Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues to suggest alternative solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application architecture or design.
• Proficiency with Cobol, C++, SOA, SAP, and .Net.
• Experience navigating legacy Mainframe/Cobol environments and Java-based SOA.
• Strong background in application modeling and UML modeling.
• Capability to manage project scope, time estimation, and resource assignment.
• Deep understanding of the development life cycle and technical governance.
• Ability to lead special projects and coach team members.
• Strong analytical skills for problem analysis and structured design.
• Experience working with security systems and web functionality.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with infrastructure concepts.
• Experience with Smart Grid technologies.
