Description

You will develop and maintain applications within the WebFocus System environment, converting mainframe reports to native WebFOCUS outputs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and design test scenarios for converting mainframe FOCUS reports to WebFocus.
• Identify, document, and resolve report defects within the WebFOCUS environment.
• Develop and code WebFOCUS reports natively and using AppStudio.
• Perform system and business analysis to align reporting outputs with user needs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with the WebFOCUS product, specifically version 8.2.
• Proficiency in AppStudio and WebFOCUS InfoAssist+ for report development.
• Strong experience in User Interface Design using HTML and Responsive Technology.
• Working knowledge of WebFOCUS 8.2 reporting requirements and architecture.
• Familiarity with mainframe technologies including JCL Procedures, ISPF commands, and FOCUS.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and CSS for front-end integration.
• Understanding of OOD and UML design principles.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DB2 and SQL, with specific experience in stored procedures.
