Description

You will lead the technical vision and architecture for Java-based enterprise applications, owning the delivery of scalable, high-performance systems. You will define technical strategy, establish coding standards, and mentor development teams while translating business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex, distributed microservices-based solutions emphasizing scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Design and implement high-performance enterprise applications using modern Java features, including records, sealed classes, and virtual threads.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior, intermediate, and junior developers while providing technical guidance.
• Conduct architectural reviews, technical design sessions, and proof-of-concept evaluations for new technologies.
• Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate trade-offs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience with proven project management and ownership.
• Expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Database, SQL, and performance tuning of complex stored procedures.
• Experience designing event-driven architectures and real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
• Implementation of distributed caching strategies using Redis for performance optimization.
• Deep knowledge of Microservices Architecture, object-oriented design, and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to enforce coding standards, design patterns, and development methodologies across teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab, and monitoring tools like ELK stack.
• Knowledge of application security with OAuth2 and JWT, and distributed tracing.
