Description

You will own the stability and evolution of application and server infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and deploy applications and servers within a hybrid environment (on-prem and Azure).
  • Monitor production environments, proactively identify issues, and manage incidents through established control processes.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive resolution.
  • Document operational procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in large enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience building and deploying applications and managing servers in hybrid environments.
  • Proven ability to monitor production systems and manage incidents via established control processes.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Strong understanding of application build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Experience operating within environments that are predominantly on-premise, with a roadmap to increase Azure footprint.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain effective and accountable under pressure and navigate significant change.
