Description

You will manage the operational stability and deployment lifecycle for critical applications.

Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and deploy applications and servers within a hybrid on-prem and Azure environment.
  • Monitor production systems, proactively identify issues, and manage incidents via established control processes.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive resolution.
  • Document operational procedures and support modernization efforts to increase Azure footprint.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in large enterprise IT environments.
  • Proven ability to build and deploy applications and manage servers.
  • Solid background in production monitoring and incident management.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience managing hybrid environments (currently 85% on-prem / 15% Azure).
  • Strong understanding of application build and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability when handling significant technical change.
