Description

You will provide technical expertise to develop solutions that implement business and system requirements for Criminal/Probation and Judiciary applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop new or modified programs based on provided specifications.
• Perform unit testing and participate in usability testing with end users.
• Extract and document business rules from existing COBOL/DB2 programs.
• Create supportive technical documentation for all developed solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel to ensure requirement alignment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in mainframe programming.
• Hands-on experience coding, testing, and debugging COBOL, CICS, and DB2.
• Proficiency with IBM OS/JCL (MVS) and IBM DB2.
• Experience with MQ program coding, testing, and debugging.
• Ability to extract business logic from legacy code.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database conversions.
