Description

Manage and optimize AppDynamics monitoring solutions to ensure application performance and availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement APM monitoring solutions for SAP HANA databases and infrastructure resources.
• Configure automated checks for availability, performance, exceptions, and configuration.
• Create AppDynamics dashboards and integrate Splunk logging to enhance observability.
• Develop automation scripts for synthetic tests using Python, JavaScript, or shell scripting.
• Implement monitoring for Java Spring Boot APIs, frontend browser applications, and native mobile apps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with AppDynamics (APM, EUM, DB, APPS, and synthetic monitoring).
• Hands-on experience with Splunk for log ingestion, search queries, and alerting.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting for automation.
• In-depth knowledge of Java Spring Boot application and API monitoring.
• Experience monitoring services behind Kong Gateway.
• Experience monitoring React or Angular frontend applications and iOS/Android mobile applications.
• Experience with AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot monitoring issues and identify gaps in existing strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to optimize monitoring strategies and document best practices.
