Key Responsibilities

 

• Implement, configure, and manage AppDynamics APM solutions across applications
• Monitor application performance, user experience, and business transactions
• Analyze performance issues and identify root causes (code, infrastructure, DB, network)
• Create dashboards, alerts, and reports for real-time monitoring
• Configure Business Transactions, Health Rules, and Policies in AppDynamics
• Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues
• Support incident management and troubleshooting using AppDynamics insights
• Integrate AppDynamics with CI/CD pipelines and other monitoring tools
• Conduct performance trend analysis and capacity planning
• Ensure monitoring coverage across microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
  
   

Required Skills & Qualifications

 

• 5+ years of experience in APM / Application Monitoring / Performance Engineering
• Hands-on experience with AppDynamics (setup, configuration, administration)
• Strong understanding of application architecture (monolith, microservices)
• Experience in monitoring Java, .NET, or Node.js applications
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs)
• Familiarity with performance metrics (response time, throughput, latency, error rates)
• Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools
• Understanding of Linux/Unix systems
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
  
   

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Experience with other monitoring tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of DevOps and SRE practices
• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
