Description

Implement, configure, and manage AppDynamics APM solutions to monitor application performance, user experience, and business transactions across microservices and distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and administer AppDynamics, configuring Business Transactions, Health Rules, and Policies for real-time monitoring.
• Analyze performance issues to identify root causes in code, infrastructure, databases, and networks.
• Create dashboards, alerts, and reports for monitoring Java, .NET, and Node.js applications.
• Integrate AppDynamics with CI/CD pipelines and support incident management with development and DevOps teams.
• Conduct performance trend analysis and capacity planning to ensure comprehensive monitoring coverage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in APM, Application Monitoring, or Performance Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with AppDynamics setup, configuration, and administration.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, including monoliths and microservices.
• Proficiency in monitoring Java, .NET, or Node.js applications and web technologies (HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs).
• Familiarity with performance metrics (response time, throughput, latency, error rates) and log analysis.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and basic database/SQL concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other monitoring tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of DevOps/SRE practices and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
