Description

You will design, implement, and manage full-stack observability solutions using AppDynamics and Splunk.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Review existing monitoring strategies to identify gaps and implement new APM solutions.
• Configure SAP monitoring via AppDynamics, covering SAP HANA databases, infrastructure resources, and predefined templates.
• Build and maintain automation scripts in Python, JavaScript, or Shell for synthetic testing.
• Develop AppDynamics dashboards for real-time application performance, availability, and frontend insights.
• Integrate Splunk logging with monitoring tools to enhance overall observability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience in observability or SRE roles.
• Deep expertise in AppDynamics, including APM, EUM, DB, APPS, and synthetic monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk for log ingestion, search queries, and alerting.
• Strong programming background with Java and Spring Boot API applications.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, JavaScript, or Shell for automation.
• Experience monitoring SAP HANA databases and infrastructure via AppDynamics.
• Experience monitoring frontend applications (React, Angular) and native mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• Practical experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of monitoring services behind API gateways such as Kong Gateway.
