Description

Manage on-premises Appian platform environments, focusing on Linux infrastructure and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-premises Appian administration, including product, package, and plug-in installations on Linux.
• Execute application and patch moves across environments.
• Handle SSL certificate installation and verification.
• Provide database support and troubleshoot application issues.
• Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in platform administration.
• Strong Linux administration and environment management skills.
• Hands-on experience with Appian application management.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and RDBMS concepts.
• Network troubleshooting skills including TCP/IP and Wireshark.
• Knowledge of Java and JavaScript.
• Experience with Azure Cloud and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of containerization and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IaaS and MS Azure networking.
• Experience with VPN and advanced network troubleshooting.
