Description

You will manage, configure, and maintain Appian environments across on-prem and cloud infrastructure, leading the migration to AWS EKS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate Appian from on-prem to containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Manage installation, patching, upgrades, and hotfixes for Appian versions 21.x and later.
• Coordinate database migrations, specifically DB2 to PostgreSQL, ensuring application and plugin compatibility.
• Configure enterprise integrations including LDAP, SSO, SMTP, and secrets management.
• Develop runbooks, SOPs, and architecture documentation while supporting performance tuning and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Appian Administrator (versions 21.x or later).
• Strong proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with AWS services including ECR, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of CI/CD deployment pipelines and Appian automation.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and DB2 database management.
• Understanding of Linux administration and container orchestration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS EKS, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of Appian operator/CRD and Amazon Secret Manager (ASM).
