Description

You will administer Appian environments and lead migrations from on-prem Linux to AWS EKS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain multiple Appian environments across on-prem and cloud infrastructures.
• Plan and execute migrations of Appian applications from on-prem to AWS EKS in collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Set up and manage Appian Docker containers and Helm configurations for deployment.
• Oversee installation, patching, upgrades, and hotfixes for Appian versions.
• Coordinate database migrations, such as DB2 to PostgreSQL, ensuring application compatibility.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Appian Administrator (versions 21.x or later).
• Proven experience migrating Appian from on-prem to containerized/cloud environments, preferably AWS EKS.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS services (ECR, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience integrating Appian with enterprise services including LDAP, SSO, SMTP, database, and secrets management.
• Familiarity with Appian automation, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and plugin management.
• Experience working with EFS, ASM, Appian operator/CRD, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Docker.
