Description

Manage and maintain Appian environments across on-prem and cloud infrastructure.

You will own the release pipeline and infrastructure lifecycle for Appian applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain multiple Appian environments (on-prem and cloud).
• Plan and execute migrations from on-prem to AWS EKS in collaboration with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams.
• Oversee installation, patching, upgrades, and hotfixes for Appian versions.
• Coordinate database migrations (e.g., DB2 to PostgreSQL) and ensure application compatibility post-migration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Appian Administrator (versions 21.x or later).
• Proven experience migrating Appian from on-prem to containerized/cloud environments (preferably AWS EKS).
• Strong understanding of Linux administration, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS services (ECR, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience integrating Appian with enterprise services (LDAP, SSO, SMTP, database, secrets management).
• Familiarity with Appian automation, deployment pipelines (CI/CD), and plugin management.
• Experience working with EFS, ASM (Amazon Secret Manager), and Appian operator/CRD.
• Proficiency with CloudFormation Templates and Terraform.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with DB2 and PostgreSQL database management.
