Description

Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications using the Appian platform to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Appian applications, including mobile, portal, and extended interface applications.
• Lead application support engagements by monitoring performance, tracking progress, and reporting metrics.
• Integrate Appian with external systems using APIs, web services, and various system integration patterns.
• Manage incident and problem management processes to ensure high application availability.
• Create technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment plans, and user guides.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Appian development and production support.
• Appian L2 certification or above.
• Hands-on experience with Appian 19.x, 20.x, 21.x, and above.
• Deep understanding of Appian architecture, best practices, and BPMN standards.
• Proficiency with Appian Designer, Appian Records, Appian RPA, and Appian Sites.
• Strong skills in SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Experience with web services including SOAP and REST.
• Knowledge of HTML, XML, JSON, SAML, and OAuth frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java or JavaScript.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Rally.

Preferred Skills

• Senior Appian Developer certification or higher.
• Experience with Appian plug-in development in in-house and cloud-hosted environments.
