Description

You will design, develop, and implement applications using the Appian platform to meet business requirements. You will lead application support engagements and ensure seamless data flow through cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Appian applications, including mobile, portal, and extended interface applications.
• Integrate Appian with external systems using APIs, web services, and plug-in development in cloud or in-house environments.
• Lead application support engagements, including incident and problem management, monitoring, and performance tracking.
• Create technical documentation such as design specifications, deployment plans, and user guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders to ensure functionality.

Required Skills

• Appian L2 certification or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in Appian development and production application support.
• Deep understanding of Appian architecture, best practices, and BPMN standards.
• Hands-on experience with Appian Designer, Appian Records, Appian RPA, and Appian Sites.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, and JSON.
• Strong experience with relational database management systems, data modeling, and SQL (including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle).
• Experience implementing SOAP/REST web services and security frameworks like SAML and OAuth.
• Practical knowledge of UX design and system integration.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or Rally for project tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Senior Appian Developer certification.
• Experience with Appian versions 19.x, 20.x, 21.x, and above.
