Description

Define and document high-level Appian architectural solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across enterprise applications.

You lead development efforts, guiding teams on best practices for SAIL, data modeling, process modeling, and integrations. This role requires 10+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years dedicated to Appian.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Perform performance tuning using Appian Health Check, logs, and monitoring tools to optimize system stability.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews and strict adherence to Appian development standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Mentor developers and establish best practices for the Appian platform.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 4 years focused on Appian.
• Expert proficiency with Appian SAIL, process models, records, reports, and smart services.
• Strong integration skills with RESTful APIs, web services, and databases.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Appian.
• Background working in Agile methodologies.
• Ability to define high-level architectural solutions for scalability and security.

Preferred Skills

• Appian Certified Lead Developer or Senior Developer certification.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
