Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Appian applications hosted on AWS infrastructure while leading a distributed engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team of engineers on Appian projects, including scoping tasks and operational processes.
• Design complex SAIL forms and Appian Sites, ensuring high-quality user interfaces.
• Develop Python backend services and integrate them with external systems via REST APIs.
• Analyze application issues to provide bug fixes, enhancement recommendations, and support documentation.
• Manage maintenance projects and related operational processes within the Scrum framework.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of overall IT experience.
• Appian Designer and Appian Analyst level certifications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Appian deployments.
• Strong Python backend development skills.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, EKS, SQS, SNS, ElasticSearch, Redis, and EC2.
• Proficiency with REST API integrations.
• Experience working within the Scrum framework.
• Data analytical skills and ability to document technical support manuals.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of at least one major programming language beyond Python.
