Description

You will design, implement, and deploy workforce application systems using the Appian low-code platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Appian process models, SAIL forms, and data storage structures.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from initial requirements analysis to testing and deployment.
• Engineer software reliability by managing Appian availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency.
• Conduct impact analysis and prepare technical user stories within an Agile framework.
• Mentor junior developers and establish internal Appian development best practices and design guides.

Required Skills

• Appian Senior Developer Certification with recent hands-on design and implementation experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Appian components including Process Models, SAIL Forms, CDT, records, and reports.
• 5+ years of experience with REST Web API development and API integration software such as MuleSoft.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies including AWS and Azure.
• 5+ years of experience building Appian CDT and integrating with databases including DB2, MySQL, MariaDB, or MS SQL Server.
• 5+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and software design.
• 3+ years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Octane or earlier versions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field, or 8 years of experience as a developer/programmer.

Preferred Skills

• Appian Lead Developer Certification.
• Experience working with a hybrid Waterfall and Agile methodology.
