Description

Develop and maintain line of business applications to solve stakeholder problems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify problems and design application development or maintenance solutions.
• Test and implement approved solutions independently or alongside agency staff.
• Troubleshoot problems with vendor support to facilitate necessary upgrades.
• Provide primary application support for system and component upgrades during modernization transitions.
• Study information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes to build software solutions.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience developing software solutions and designing system specifications.
• Strong understanding of systems flow and data usage.
• Experience investigating problem areas and installing designed solutions.
• Any Graduate degree (will be considered as a substitute for years of experience).

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of Appian development experience.
• 10 years of experience with legacy applications and transforming/modernizing legacy environments.
• Experience with legacy Oracle environments and legacy code in government systems.
