Description

You will design and implement new features on the Appian platform, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and efficiency. You will own the full development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to resolving emergent problems through automation and bug-fixing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features and improvements for existing Appian platform functionality.
• Manage Appian availability, latency, and scalability by engineering reliability into systems.
• Respond to and resolve emergent problems through software development and automation.
• Perform testing and bug-fixing to ensure system stability.
• Collaborate with clients to define business processes and gather functional system requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Appian Certifications and deep knowledge of Appian Plug-ins and APIs.
• Strong understanding of BPM-based platforms.
• Proficiency in Java, XML, Ajax, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with BPM implementation.
• Familiarity with the Appian deployment process.
• Ability to work within small, integrated agile teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Pega, IBM, or other BPM tools.
