Description

Design and implement end-to-end business process management solutions using the Appian platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Appian processes, expression rules, SAIL forms, CDTs, records, and reports.
• Develop role-based systems by managing group types and access controls.
• Build and consume web services using SOAP and REST, including Connected Systems and web APIs.
• Monitor active processes and debug issues within SAIL interfaces.
• Manage Appian packaging and deployment via CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Business Process Management using Appian.
• Appian Level 1 “Associated Developer Certified” proficiency with Appian 22.x and above.
• Experience with Appian 22.x, CI/CD, SOAP, and REST.
• Ability to write test plans for expression rules.
• Database knowledge including handling tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Understanding of Appian server-side properties and their application.
• Experience with multiple external system integrations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing Appian Plugins, including Smart Services, Function Plugins, Servlet Plugins, and Component UI Plugins.
• Experience with Embedded SAIL and Appian Portals.
