Description

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a variety of software applications, tools, and functions for the business
• Compile business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development
• Maintain documentation for code, processes, and systems
• Support QA testing and implement fixes for exceptions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Ensure security and data protection compliance across applications
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

Qualifications

• Required
  • 3+ years of experience in Appian or full stack development
  • Strong front-end skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
  • Hands-on development experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
  • Knowledge of SQL programming and ability to write and simplify complex queries and improve query performance
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Preferred
  • Experience with SAIL, Records, Integrations, and WebAPIs in Appian
  • Experience with Flask
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Professional experience working in investment banking
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
