Description

Lead end-to-end Appian BPM implementations, from design and development through to deployment and packaging. Architect enterprise-level solutions, including process, solution, and infrastructure layers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build intelligent automation solutions using Appian BPM, managing system and enterprise-level architectures.
• Lead development of Appian objects including Records, Reports, Tasks, Sites, Expression Rules, Web APIs, Interface Rules, CDTs, and Process Models.
• Manage Appian infrastructure elements such as KDB engines, topology, sizing, and scaling.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams using Agile methodologies to deliver software.
• Provide technical support to resolve business and industry-specific challenges for consultants and clients.

Required Skills

• Appian "Lead Developer" certification is mandatory.
• 6+ years of Appian experience and 9+ years of total industry experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Appian Connected Systems, Data Stores, and integrations via SOAP, REST, and ESBs (e.g., MuleSoft).
• Proficiency in J2EE design patterns: JSPs, Java Servlets, EJBs, and JDBC.
• Experience with App Servers (JBOSS, TOMCAT) and Web Servers (Apache).
• Experience with CI/CD technologies including Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
• Working knowledge of SAFe Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Understanding of authentication configuration between external systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing Appian Plugins, Connected Systems, and Component UI Plugins.
• Experience with Embedded SAIL and Portals.
