Description

You will manage and maintain the CDP environment, ensuring system stability, security, and data availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including software updates, patch installations, and system configurations for CDP components.
• Administer and audit user access and data management across Console, Ranger, Virtual Warehouse, and Data Visualization.
• Manage application and data migrations from development to production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SSSD, Free IPA, Azure IDP, HDFS, Yarn, Hive, and Impala.
• Build and optimize data lakes and warehouses to ensure efficient storage and retrieval for analytical needs.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Proficiency with Big Data, Data Lake, Postgres DB, and Azure Kubernetes Services.
• Experience managing Azure VMs, Storage Accounts, Private Subnets, Private Endpoints, and Identities/Roles.
• Technical knowledge of Cloudera Data Lake, Data Hub, Data Warehouse, and Data Visualization.
• Experience with HDFS, Yarn, Ranger, Hive, Impala, Sqoop, and Hue.
• Ability to manage RHEL OS and Salt orchestration.
• Experience using ServiceNow for access requests, incidents, and change management.
• Understanding of CDP Public Cloud Base and Data Services architecture.
