Description

You will manage the R&D application landscape, serving as the liaison between research users and core IT teams to resolve non-laboratory application issues.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for application troubleshooting, coordinating with core IT and infrastructure teams for technical fixes.
• Manage vendor relationships by holding providers accountable for triage, issue resolution, and participation in technical discussions.
• Audit and enhance application data within ServiceNow to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Build and maintain comprehensive documentation and Knowledgebase articles for both IT staff and end-users.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, legal, and privacy teams to ensure new applications comply with organizational standards.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in IT application management or IT project management.
• Daily functional use of ServiceNow or similar Service Management platforms.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to write technical Knowledgebase articles.
• Experience managing vendor engagement and technical triage processes.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including scientists, cybersecurity, and legal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• Proficiency using tools like CoPilot or Enterprise ChatGPT to evaluate and monitor application processes.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SQL, AWS cloud computing, Linux systems, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and AI/ML tools.
