Description

You will lead software architecture development and provide strategic guidance to program-level architects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of complex issues affecting software and hardware architecture.
• Develop CONOPS for new systems and define application design roadmaps.
• Serve as the technical interface for client reviews, briefings, and demonstrations.
• Communicate architectural rationale, design, and governance to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure architectures meet program requirements.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of software development experience.
• Proven experience as a software architect with strong understanding of design principles and governance.
• Experience developing requirements, defining system interfaces, and supporting system-level integration.
• Proficiency with software architecture tools, techniques, and messaging/communication protocols.
• Knowledge of Digital Engineering principles, including Model Based System Engineering.
• Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines for production systems.
• Expertise in security accreditation processes.
• Deep technical knowledge of IT development stacks.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to map architectural visions into actionable execution plans.
