Description

You will design and develop database solutions for the Broker Dealer business, focusing on automating regulatory report generation and ensuring error-free software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle database architecture and enhancements for regulatory reporting.
• Perform performance tuning of existing applications to support fast, reliable intraday activities.
• Own the application lifecycle, including maintenance, release management, and critical bug fixing.
• Troubleshoot production and lower environment issues and communicate effectively with business partners.
• Partner with Scrum Masters and Agile team members to ensure project execution stays on track.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Architecture and development (12c/19c).
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, advanced SQL, and complex query debugging.
• Proven expertise in performance tuning and application optimization.
• Experience with data warehousing tools, specifically Informatica for data transformation.
• Proficiency in Python, Unix Shell Scripting, and job schedulers like Autosys.
• Understanding of Agile principles and ability to contribute to open technical discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Domain knowledge in Investment Banking or Regulatory Reporting.
• Experience with critical thinking in high-stakes financial environments.
