Description

You will design and develop large-scale, service-oriented applications using Java/J2EE technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services within a Service Oriented Architecture.
• Develop high-concurrency applications using multi-threaded programming to support large workloads.
• Optimize RDBMS performance through complex queries and scalability tuning.
• Manage messaging workflows using MQ messaging frameworks and asynchronous messaging patterns.
• Maintain and deploy applications within WebSphere Application Server and Unix/Linux environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE and web services development.
• Deep expertise in Core Java, Object Oriented concepts, and multi-threaded programming.
• Extensive experience with Apache CXF, Hibernate, and Spring MVC.
• Proficiency with RDBMS platforms such as DB2 or Oracle, including query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server and MQ messaging.
• Strong command of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Solid understanding of Service Modeling and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka, Apache Camel, and Angular development.
• Knowledge of ETL, Data Modeling, NoSQL, or NewSQL products like Cassandra and Hadoop.
• Background in Agile practices and production support using Splunk or AppDynamics.
