Description

You will lead the technical design and management of back-end services, UI development, and enterprise solutions for an AWS cloud IaaS platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, planning, and management for back-end services and UI development.
• Document and present architectural decisions to peers and management.
• Provide architectural guidance to development teams and mentor engineers to solve technical challenges.
• Deliver prototypes, reusable microservice components, and complex RESTful services in an Agile environment.
• Perform code and design reviews, implement system integration tests, and foster a DevOps culture through automation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Architect, Technical Lead, or Software Engineer.
• 3+ years of hands-on application architecture experience for large enterprise solutions.
• Expert knowledge of Java (7+) enterprise development and integration middleware.
• 7+ years of experience with Java, Spring Core, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Extensive experience delivering microservice-based architecture using APIs, containers, and automation.
• Advanced skills in implementing Service APIs (SOAP, REST) and API Management tools.
• Proficiency with RDBMS SQL (DB2, Oracle) and Java integration using Spring Data, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with NoSQL implementations such as MongoDB or AWS DynamoDB.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Kubernetes with OpenShift) and CI/CD tools.
• Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit5 and Mockito.
• Strong understanding of Java concurrency and concurrency patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, NodeJS, and front-end technologies including Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies (Lambda, SQS, EC2, ECS) and messaging products like IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.
