Description

Lead the architectural transition of a Ruby on Rails application from AWS to Azure, including porting the codebase to .NET.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement migration strategies, including data migration plans and database schema designs.
• Direct development teams in the design, testing, and deployment of complex software and microservices on Azure.
• Develop technical artifacts such as design specifications, roadmaps, models, and technical interfaces.
• Analyze and write code using .NET C#, JavaScript, and SQL to implement application solutions.
• Mentor application developers on industry best practices, design patterns, and software assembly.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development and architecture.
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud technologies and AWS services.
• Proficiency in .NET C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of REST/JSON and SOAP/XML.
• Experience with Angular and React frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of the SDLC.
• Experience designing microservices architectures and web services.
• Ability to design database schemas, integrations, and service endpoints.
