Description

You will lead technical strategy and architectural design for critical modernization projects within the Division of Unemployment Insurance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design application architectures and develop product roadmaps, user stories, and quarterly planning strategies.
• Select and review on-premises and cloud tools and technologies.
• Conduct code and work item reviews to ensure compliance with security requirements and technical objectives.
• Perform hands-on development using various languages and tools.
• Provide contractual oversight on work performed by development teams.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of web and client-server application development experience covering the full lifecycle.
• 15 years of experience with C#.NET (first 5 years of ASP/.NET is acceptable).
• 15 years of experience with MVC frameworks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft .NET 6 and C#.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and Jira.
• Database experience with DB2, Oracle, BigQuery, and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with z/OS, Docker, and SonarQube.
• Proven success in web services, system integration, and Agile Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, React, or Liquibase.
• Previous experience in government, insurance, accounting, or case management systems.
