Define technology vision and solution architecture for business domains, leading teams from design through implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build solution designs and high-level architecture documents for assigned business capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps as the primary liaison between IT and stakeholders.
• Lead development teams by decomposing solutions into domains, APIs, epics, and stories.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering Managers to align product roadmaps with feature delivery.
• Conduct proofs of concept to evaluate new technologies and promote code reuse via inner sourcing.

Required Skills

• 5-7+ years of experience in solution architecture.
• Expertise in microservices design, specifically REST-based APIs.
• Strong command of Java with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift.
• Deep experience with AWS services and DevOps CI/CD processes.
• Mastery of software design principles and major architecture patterns.
• Proven track record in Agile and Lean development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and present complex technical proposals to non-technical audiences.
