Description

Define and oversee application, technical, and system architecture for major development initiatives while driving modernization and SDLC compliance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define application, technical, and system architecture for major development initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to developers, DBAs, middleware teams, and business stakeholders.
• Lead Agile/Scrum teams, facilitate sprints, and ensure timely delivery of project goals.
• Support project planning, risk management, and milestone tracking for complex technical projects.
• Collaborate with business users and Product Owners to refine requirements and define acceptance criteria.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Application Architecture and SDLC.
• Expert knowledge of COBOL, Java, and/or React.
• Experience with CICS, DB2, SQL, stored procedures, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Jira, Git/GitHub, ChangeMan, and Control-M/BulkMailer.
• Strong understanding of mainframe, multi-tier, and web-based applications.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and Scrum Master practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• PMP certification.
• Experience driving application modernization and process improvements.
