Description

You will define and manage software architecture for division programs, guiding program-level architects and serving as the primary technical interface for client reviews and demonstrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of issues impacting software and hardware architecture, proposing solutions that balance cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Develop CONOPS and strategic plans for applications architecture and design in collaboration with client executives.
• Define system interfaces, support system-level integration, and track key roadmaps and deliverables.
• Communicate architectural vision, rationale, and governance to client leadership and internal teams.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of software development experience with prior experience as a software architect.
• Strong understanding of architecture design principles and governance.
• Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
• Expertise in DevOps and DevSecOps pipelines for key production systems on client infrastructure.
• Experience creating architectural vision, documenting rationale, and communicating with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to decompose complex problems and present balanced technical approaches across disciplines.
• Deep technical knowledge of the IT development stack and security accreditation processes.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for technical briefings and executive updates.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading program-level architects in a client-facing environment.
