We are looking for a highly experienced Application Architect to lead the design, modernization, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in Microsoft .NET technologies, SQL Server, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Modernization, and AI-assisted software development.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and develop enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions across multiple applications, APIs, databases, and integration platforms.
• Implement Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Minimal APIs, and asynchronous programming best practices.
• Lead legacy application modernization and migration to modern cloud-native architectures.
• Design and optimize SQL Server solutions, including Advanced T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization, Execution Plans, Indexing Strategies, Query Store, Partitioning, and Always On Availability Groups.
• Drive enterprise adoption of GitHub Copilot by leveraging AI-assisted code generation, prompt engineering, automated testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Establish enterprise architecture standards, reusable frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps processes, and coding best practices.
• Mentor development teams, participate in architecture reviews, and evaluate emerging technologies to support long-term enterprise strategy.
• Ensure applications comply with Zero Trust Security, PII/Data Protection, WCAG 2.2 Accessibility Standards, and enterprise security policies.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, Entity Framework Core, Web API, SQL Server, and Enterprise Application Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, application modernization, cloud migration, and enterprise integration.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, DevSecOps, distributed systems, authentication, and source control strategies.
• Experience working in public sector, regulated industries, or utility environments is highly preferred.
