Description

You will design and build scalable microservices and event-driven architectures on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop backend services using Spring Boot and Core Java.
• Design serverless event processing workflows using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Implement real-time data streaming pipelines with Apache Kafka.
• Ensure system resiliency, service routing, and failover mechanisms.
• Manage API error handling, debugging, and node setup.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in software architecture and development.
• Extensive proficiency in Spring Boot and Core Java.
• Strong experience with AWS services, specifically Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, and SNS.
• Deep knowledge of Kafka streaming and event-driven patterns.
• Experience with basic database design (CockroachDB, Aurora, PostgreSQL, SQL).
• Familiarity with Node.js.
• Previous work experience in the JPMC environment is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
