Description

Design and implement technical solutions for critical system changes and complex business problems, serving as both Application Architect and Data Engineer.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solutions, gathering user requirements and producing detailed technical design artifacts.
• Develop, implement, and maintain stored procedures and data packages to process large volumes of data.
• Propose design options with level-of-effort estimates and target delivery dates.
• Perform unit and QA testing, facilitate user acceptance testing, and manage application changes through approved promotion paths.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and document best practices, lessons learned, and system updates.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data systems design and programming.
• 15+ years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• 15+ years of experience with PL/SQL and ETL for large data volumes.
• 15+ years of experience in Governmental Retirement Systems.
• 7+ years of experience working on actuarial systems.
• Expertise in Oracle (11g/19C), PL/SQL, and SQL.
• Proficiency with Snowflake and Power BI.
• Strong background in data management and technical requirement definition.
