Description

You will serve as a subject matter expert focusing on platform architecture and the migration of containerized applications across diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Build Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Containers as a Service (CaaS) architectures from the ground up for cloud-native applications.
• Execute hands-on development and containerization tasks using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage the migration of containerized applications across platforms, such as moving from Tanzu to OpenShift or to AKS.
• Automate application migration pipelines, including the management of all underlying infrastructure dependencies.
• Lead discovery and proof-of-concept phases for various client projects.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• Expertise in Kubernetes distributions including AKS, OpenShift, Rancher, and Tanzu.
• Proven experience with Docker and containerization workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and NodeJS.
• Familiarity with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) concepts, including Spring Boot and static app patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, specifically Jenkins and Tekton.
• Ability to work in EST or CT time zones.
• Willingness to travel onsite to client locations for initial project phases.
