Description

You will design and manage databases within a microservices-based architecture on Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement databases for microservices-based architectures in Azure.
• Set up and manage development, non-production, and production environments using PostgreSQL.
• Administer, optimize, and tune MS SQL Server environments for performance and stability.
• Write and tune T-SQL or PL/SQL code to support application logic and data access.
• Execute data migration activities and provide database expertise to application development teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development or administration.
• Expertise in MongoDB.
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server management and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of T-SQL.
• Experience working within an SDLC framework.
• Experience working as part of a Scrum team.
• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
