Description

You will manage and optimize the data persistence layer for applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient database schemas (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) mapping to business objects.
• Write and tune stored procedures using T-SQL.
• Monitor and optimize database indexes and queries as data loads change.
• Troubleshoot application issues related to data components alongside developers.
• Plan and execute data migrations from on-premise SQL Server to cloud databases, including Google Cloud for analytics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a DBA.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Proficiency with T-SQL for stored procedure creation.
• Experience with SQL Server environments.
• Ability to analyze and migrate legacy application data stores.
• Experience assisting with existing SQL Server infrastructure during migration phases.
